Latch and Post Gate Repair Fresno has been fixing gates across Fresno since 2009, and the crew who shows up at your house is the reason people keep calling back. We’re part of the Cedarwell family of independently owned and operated gate specialists, but this is a local team that knows Fresno. We’ve worked on gates in Woodward Park, Tower District, Sunnyside, and out toward Clovis, and we understand how Valley heat and dust beat up hinges, latches, and opener motors. The technicians below are the people you’ll actually meet at your gate.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Cody Beckman, Owner
Cody founded Latch and Post Gate Repair Fresno in 2009 and still runs the day-to-day along with the crew. He’s the one who answers the phone when a call comes in at odd hours, and he’s the one who set the rule that every customer gets a written price before any work starts. Cody grew up working on farm gates and cattle gates in the Central Valley, then spent years on residential and commercial gate systems before hanging his own shingle. He’ll be the first to tell you that most gate problems come down to two things: the latch that holds it and the post that carries it. That’s the job this company focuses on, and it’s why the name fits. Ask him about a rusted gate hinge he once saw outlast two different opener motors, and he’ll give you a dry little lecture on why powder coating matters.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Latch and Post for eleven years and handles the complicated electric gate repairs most other companies in Fresno will pass on. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule systems, and he can usually diagnose a faulted limit switch or a worn capacitor without opening the second panel. Marcus is the guy who actually enjoys rewiring a gate that another contractor left tangled. He keeps a spiral notebook in the truck with diagrams of every odd gate setup he’s fixed, and he’s quietly proud of the fact that his first-visit fix rate is the highest on the team.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena runs our gate installation work, from driveway swing gates in newer subdivisions up toward Copper River to heavy steel gates on older Fresno properties with uneven post footings. She’s certified on the full brand list and measures everything twice before the concrete gets poured. Elena came to gate work from residential framing, which means she sees a post that’s out of plumb before most people see the gate itself. She’s also the one who trains every new hire on the C.A.R.E. values: Clean up like it is our own home, Ask before we move or touch anything, Respect the family’s time and quiet hours, Explain the price before the work. She has two kids, and she’s the reason our technicians keep the tools quiet when there’s a baby napping inside.
Danny F., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice you’ll hear when you call Latch and Post Gate Repair Fresno at (559) 785-2501. He’s been coordinating repairs and installations for the Fresno team since 2016, and a live person answers every call around here, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. No voicemail, no callback queue. Danny keeps the schedule running so that repair calls get prioritized fairly and installation surveys get booked without double-booking the crew. He grew up in Fresno and knows the difference between a Tower District alley gate and a Sunnyside front-yard gate just from how the customer describes it on the phone.
One Standard, Every Job
The Cedarwell family operates across the state, but every location works to the same promises. For the Fresno team, that means a written price delivered before any work starts, every single visit, with no pressure to accept it. It means shoe covers and drop cloths on every trip inside the house, and a photo of the clean-up before the technician leaves, included at no extra charge. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise stands behind every repair and installation. If it’s not done right, we make it right. No argument, no fine print. Background-checked, uniformed technicians train on the brands families actually own, so the right fix happens on the first visit as often as it can. Cody Beckman holds every tech on this page to the same standard, and he’d rather lose a job than cut a corner on it. That’s how this crew has worked since 2009, and it’s how the next job will go, too.
